| Accommodation |
La Caniada is the name of the olive grove where we shall be staying. There is a large farmhouse and four cottages with their own unique décor and ambiance. They are surrounded by five acres of serene olive groves and fragrant orchards of oranges, lemons and almonds hundreds of years old. It is green and fertile land largely because of the old watering system created by the moors. Tranquility, simplicity and closeness to heaven and earth are key features of ‘Soul Journeys’ with Lainey where the healing powers of nature pervade the senses.

It is situated in the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevadas called ‘Los Alpujarras’ 2 hours from Malaga airport. The olive grove sits on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Orgiva with the breathtaking Sierra Nevada mountains providing a dramatic background. This is a region of outstanding natural beauty. |

In the most beautiful part of the olive grove there is a very special ‘Cortijo’ farmhouse, it is very large old transformed farmhouse which offers accommodation for up to thirteen people. It is surrounded by natural vegetation with a large swimming pool perfectly situated on a terrace surrounded by four other cottages. Each cottage has accommodation for four people, they have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a covered terrace.
There is plenty of shaded outdoor space to retire and catch up on reading, meditating and general ‘chilling out’, including an attractive covered terrace- an idyllic setting for alfresco meals designed to stimulate the taste buds! |

Yoga with Lainey twice daily is gentle, yet strengthening

Food for the Soul created to heal and inspire is the ethos of our chef, Jenny Wood. Great care is placed on healthy, fresh vegetarian food most of which is organic and locally grown. Refreshing teas, from a variety of herbs grown in Jenny’s garden, are also available. |
